My Carwash - my story
Tell us about your business.
My name is Christoff Lombard, and I’m the owner of My Carwash. I’ve been in the carwash industry for over 15 years, since opening my first location in December 2008. Today, we proudly operate four branches across Woodmill, Klapmuts, Paarl, and Stellenbosch, providing quality car care and service with a personal touch.
What inspired you to start this business?
The philosophy from the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” deeply influenced me. It emphasized the importance of not just working for money but rather having your money work for you and the significance of owning and minding your own business.
What aspect of your business is most enjoyable to you?
I particularly enjoy meeting new and interesting people. Additionally, the opportunity to create and implement innovative new products is a highlight of running my business.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
I advise taking the leap and starting, even on a small scale. Begin with whatever resources you have, like Jesus in the Bible with the 5 Loaves & 2 Fishes.
