“My name is Letitia Tytheridge, and I’m the proud owner of Letitia Florist. I’ve been creating floral arrangements and spreading joy through flowers for over 48 years, serving my community with passion, creativity, and personal care.”
What inspired you to start this business?
My primary inspiration was my mother, who was known as the flower lady in Riversdal. Growing up, our home was always filled with flowers, deeply influencing my love for floristry.
What aspect of your business is most enjoyable to you?
The most fulfilling parts are interacting with various people and contributing to their happiness. I also find significant meaning in providing comfort during family conflicts with the thoughtful gesture of flowers and offering solace at funerals through sympathy floral arrangements.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
It’s essential to research and prepare beforehand thoroughly.
